Feeling
Do you know what it's like to have your entire spine surgically removed and replaced by a heaving, tingling mass of emotions? Do you know what it's like to have a basketball-sized ball of butterflies in your stomach that have just consumed 2,000 litres of coffee and are chasing the coffee with numerous Red Bull and vodka? Do you know what it's like to have your brain filled with 10 million exploding firecrackers that echo and sparkle and crash and fill your senses with un-nameable sights and sounds and patterns against the backdrop of grey that your life once was?
I do.
Can you see in glorious Technicolor? Can you hear in Stereophonic sound? Is there an entire philharmonic orchestra and a heavy metal band throbbing their music simultaneously through your veins? Can you feel the bass thump resonate in your chest cavity? Can you hear the electric guitars thrash out their distorted mashing? Can you feel the rythm of the drums as they beat out their cosmic tattoo?
I can.
