Mixed Bag
Voyeurism At It’s Best
I spent a good part of yesterday reading somebody's blog. I went through the archives and read each and every post the blogger had ever written (assuming, of course, it was the only blog the blogger ever had). I read about this blogger's love life, work life, pet peeves, dreams and desires. Basically everything one would find in a personal blog. So I read and read and read and then left. Without leaving a single comment. Without any hint or sign that I was even there. And it felt weird. Like I had dropped in at someone's home and left without leaving a note. Or worse - like I had been looking through someone's bedroom when they weren't at home.
The funny thing is that this blog wasn't even well written (which is my main criteria for blog-hopping) and nor was it humourous (my second criteria). It was at best amateurish and very very self-centred. But it was so full of personal details and almost charted the entire course of the blogger's life that I just had to keep reading to find out more. I'm sure I'm going to go back tomorrow and the day after and the day after that…and never leave any comments! I wonder if anyone's being doing that with my blog. Hell..who am I kidding…how many people come here in the first place!

She
She has beautiful wild hair that covers her gorgeous face like a halo and a smile that goes on for miles. Her kohl-filled eyes and intricate long black bindis make it even more difficult to shift my gaze away. Her slender long fingers and even longer nails beckon from afar and the warmth of her handshake makes it so hard to break away. I hear her voice on the end of the line and I know I'm in for a sleepless night. After years of mixed feelings and silently admiring every fibre of her being, I'm finally telling her today. I only hope she feels the same...

A Case of Knives
What kind of person packs an unprotected cream puff along with a case of knives?
The kind that surrounds her dreams with the very things that are the potential death of her, that's who.
She packed her ambitions in a case of knives and threw away the key. And then she proceeded to use the case as a footstep for the men to come in and rape her.

I hope 'She' and 'A Case of Knives' are the beginnings of longer pieces of writing. Would be nice to read the full stories...
Why wouldn't a blog be self-centered?
I hope you don't find me intruding..but I just got hooked to your blog today. Yeah many don't write as well as you..I guess its just thier way of expressing...and yes the main reason many have a blog is to be self centered I suppose - why not?
