Beautiful flowers

My palms are big enough to contain a palmful of beautiful flowers,
and that is ALL I ask: a palmful of beautiful flowers.

But even fresh flowers will decay if they remain too long in my palms;
so I pray for the strength to sacrifice 'my' flowers to they who have none.

And lo, these flowers are so divine! Each time I sacrifice a few,
more beautiful ones fill mine palms.
And, that is ALL I ask: a palmful of beautiful flowers.
